Re: Happy Tuesday, again

HAHA!! Amen to that! I have a coworker who brags of having 42 years of experience. Three students she has have been in summer school every year that I've known of the poor kids. She complains of their slow reading but she has never done anything different to ameliorate their problems. She teaches from the same 30-year-old braille reader books without outside updated supplements and uses the same tired worksheets year after year. They just can't learn the way she teaches! Yet she's had each of them since they were in Kindergarten and now they are in 3rd grade. Each child has a different learning difference. So she blames the children for their lack of or slow progress!
There is a saying about the definition of insanity: You know, the one about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?

Yet one of these babies--with whom she's particularly harsh-- told me: "I pray for her [the teacher] all the time."

TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.

TEACHER: Did you see God up there?

TOMMY: No..

TEACHER: That's my point.. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he
Just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree
