| Modified high-school diploma proposed for S.C. students with disabilities
Disability advocates in South Carolina are proposing an alternative high-school diploma for students with disabilities that would better prepare them for the post-high-school workplace. The state currently offers students with disabilities a "certificate of attendance" if they cannot pass exit exams or earn the 24 credits needed for a traditional diploma. The new diploma plan must be approved by the state legislature. Herald (Rock Hill, S.C.), The/The Associated Press (4/3) |
