Yeah, that's my car steering wheel in these photos.
I took these two photos on the way home as I sat in traffic. Never mind the fact that my jolly fat hands need lotion sumn' awful. The first photo shows that these little rings come in a small bag from Wally World (AKA WalMArt).

The second photo shows what sizes are cool to use on a zipper.

I was thinking of Mr. Hebrews 13:1-3 when I bought this pack--well he and my broken Bible zipper pull.

He has cerebral palsey and sometimes has trouble with zippers on his pants, often running back from the boys room, holding on to his pants until he can get back inside for the para (teacher's aide) to help him. The para has been complaining that his mom buys his pants too small which can also make the zipper harder to pull. We were kinda thinking that elastic waist school uniform pants would be more appropriate but we don't buy his little clothes.

The first thing I thought of was those little zipper pull things kids have on their bookbags and cell phone cases. I'd found such a one for him, then I thought, we can't have anything down there that would give too much attention to the kid's zipper area. Then I didn't want to attach something so heavy that it would unzip him during the day.

I told the para today to attach the little clip first and maybe the ring if he has trouble manipulating the clip alone. The ring is small enough for a little finger and not too heavy.

In case you're wondering, I call this kid Mr. Hebrews 13:1-3 because that is one of my favorite scriptures. I think of it when I come across certain children with disabilities who remind me of angels. I read a book many years ago that said that sometimes angels come to earth as disabled children to teach us and to give us messages God wants us to have.
