Blind Author Had Rich Material for Book

Born with albinism that left her with only 10% of her sight, she became completely blind about eight years ago, in part due to the complications of diabetes.




"I went to regular school," she said about her early life in Forest. "I never used a cane. Distances were a challenge, but I didn't know any different."
