About Me

My photo
Ms. Kathy
I am a Christian mom of a great but very shy grown-up daughter, two beautiful grown-up stepdaughters, and a wife of a precious Christian man I met as we volunteered for Kairos Prison Ministry in south Louisiana. I am also an artist and teacher/specialist for children with visual impairments and a Children's Ministry teacher. I have over 40 years of experience in education. I was a high school art teacher, an art and cultural enrichments/reading specialist for children ages 3 to 23 with visual impairments, a teacher for high school age/young adult deaf-blind students, a teacher for preemie-born preschool students with visual impairments, a teacher/specialist for children with visual impairments for preschool to high school students. I also have experience with children with orthopedic impairments, autism, and learning differences--especially dyslexia/dysgraphia.
